Motherhood = An Adventure
When I first saw the lines on the pregnancy test, I didn’t know whether to jump for joy or start stressing over if I was going to be a good mom or not. I immediately called my husband at work and told him the news. We were both excited, but felt so unprepared. And in many ways we were. But one thing is certain, our little one was a blessing from the Lord, and he would help us navigate the journey of parenting.
When it comes to being a mom, I still have heaps to learn, but I’m here to share the things I have learned, and hopefully encourage other moms or moms to be in their motherhood journeys.
Whether it comes to your postpartum body, sleepless nights or the sweet milestones of your baby growing up, you can bet that somewhere out there a mom has had the same thoughts and feelings. You’re not alone momma!
My prayer for you, whether you’re a new mom, an adoptive mom, a mom with a sweet one on the way, or a woman prayerfully looking to the future, is that my words, and stories will bless you. That God will bless you, your children, and your spouse with his wonderful mercies and joy. May your days be full of smiles and hugs.
